On each GP MOTO race day, two races will be run: GP and Moto. All bikes 600cc or above shall participate in the GP race, while all bikes of smaller displacement shall participate in the MOTO race, in classes defined below.
Awards will be presented to the top finishers in each of the 4 classes based on finishing position within the respective classes (for example, the first MOTO Supersport finisher will be awarded as 1st place in MOTO Supersport even if he/she is the 5th place finisher in the MOTO race overall).
Two separate races (GP and MOTO) will be run on each GP Moto race day. Each race will be further separated into two classes: the two classes will start together but scored separately (race within a race). The two separate classes in each of the races may be started in two separate waves at the race director's discretion.
The GP race will be separated into two classes:
All displacements at or above 749cc.
All displacements between 550cc and 748cc, inclusive.
The Moto race will be separated into two classes:
All displacements between 350cc and 549cc, inclusive.
All displacements up to 349cc.
At the end of the 2018 racing season, a grand champion in each of the four classes will be crowned. Championship points will be awarded at each of the GP Moto rounds according to the following scale:
In keeping to the founding premise of the GP Moto Racing Series - a fun and safe experience which compliments our first class trackday experience, we have simplified the GP Moto rules to encourage participation and level of fun!
ART RACE racing license certification schools will be run on all GP MOTO racing days. Please visit ART RACE section for details
